These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of dansinternationaal's website, located at www.dansinternationaal.nl and also apply to all participants in any capacity on the event.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use dansinternationaal if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. By participating in any capacity in one or more of our our events I / we agree
* to act in full compliance with all applicable national, regional and local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, regulations or orders, including, without limitation, those relating to health, sanitation and safety.
* to indemnify and hold the organizers and its officers (collectively "Indemnitees") harmless from all claims, actions, demands, losses, damages, liabilities or judgements (collectively "Claims") arising out of or relating to the conduct of the event, or any event run by the organizers before, during or after the event and to pay all and any legal expenses incurred by any Indemnitee, including reasonable attorneys' fees any Indemnitee incurs in defending against any Claims.
* All participants in any capacity, by entering the competition, agree to accept any ruling from the organizer during the event and wave any possible claim towards the organizer.
* All rights to any fees for any commercial enterprise (such as TV-coverage, video-recording, etc) will vest solely with the organizers and no participants in any capacity shall have any claim against the organizer at any such event.
* On entering the competition you give the organisation permission to use all pictures or film-footage taken on the event for further publication.
Special announcement Dutch Open & WDC Amateur League Championships 2022.
This announcement is in accordance with the restrictions of the Dutch Government and the European laws against racism / discrimination by religion, colour of skin, gender, nation of birth, etc..
We can and will only act within the bounderies of these laws and restrictions.
* Representation of Russia or Belarus for any participant in any capacity is not allowed.
* Including any form of support of these regimes by show of flags or sponsorship of companies operated or controlled by persons with strong links to these regimes.
* Nor do they have or intend to express any form of support for the Russian or Belarussian regimes regarding the invasion of Ukraine.
* Individual participants of before mentioned countries by birth or nationality will be regarded as “neutral” and will agree to these terms and conditions by sending in their participation forms.
Hence on the entryforms “Dancing for” must read “NEUTRAL”.
* The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant, including all visitors, in our festival acting in breach of these terms and conditions.
For clarification:
The freedom to dance for every competitor is and has always been the leading principle for the Dutch Open and the WDC Amateur League. It is their core-identity.
The principle of freedom in general, as we can witness at this moment, needs to be defended under all circumstances. Especially where it concerns the future generation of dancers, the little children.
They for sure should not be burdened with getting involved in the consequences of a war. As it is they already are the innocent victims. At their age they develop strong bonds and friendships within their generation that will determine their attitude towards life in the future at large.
The least we can do for all of them is allow them to experience freedom, in our case the freedom to dance. To ensure that they will grow up and honor the same principles we value so much.
Furthermore exclusion by nationionality, religion, colour of skin, sexe, etc. in general is regarded as racism and forbidden by law.
Of course we are fully condemning the regimes of Russia and Belarus in their acts against Ukraine and the freedom in general. And fully support Ukraine in their exemplary defense of their country and brave fight for freedom. We help where we can.
